Quality Standard
Since its foundation, CSM has abided by the GGTAM, (<Global Guidelines for TV Audience Measurement>) in conducting TV rating research activities, and also has taken into account some special characteristics of the China market. At the same time, CSM has translated GGTAM into Chinese, distributed it throughout the industry and put the guidelines into practice. Therefore, CSM's data are widely recognized by the market and has become the "THE currency" for the industry.
While already widely welcomed by clients, CSM has implemented the quality control concept of being "centered on our clients" and the policy of "Equitable, transparent, timely and accurate service." To achieve this CSM set up a quality control system to monitor the whole process of our data production and service. This enabled CSM to win the certificate of ISO9002 (1994) five years ago, making CSM the first market research company in China to gain such a certificate. Based on these quality control guidelines, CSM was awarded the internationally well-known ISO9001 (2000) accreditation by SGS on Mar 21st, 2003. This accreditation indicates both the company's TV rating measurement and Radio rating measurement coincide with the new ISO9000-2000 norms. |
