CSM Sport & Media Research brings China Sports Insight to
¡°2005 International Forum on Sports TV¡±

2005 International Forum on Sports TV was recently held at the Nikko New Century Hotel on August 25th in Beijing. As an important part of the 2005 China International Radio, Film and Television Expo, the forum is sponsored by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the China Media Group (CMG), organized by the China International TV Corporation and the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia, and co-organized by the CCTV Sports Promotion Co., Ltd. CSM Media Research was delighted to be the official research partner.

Over 400 sport & media executives from both local and international gathered together to share their views on the China Sport TV industry. This is the first time that a forum on such a scale. With a focus on Beijing¡¯s plans for the 2008 Olympics, the forum stressed the current status and future trends of the world¡¯s sports TV industry by analyzing the management modes and successful cases in the field as well as the development of China¡¯s TV media. The event is expected to help leaders and decision-makers in China¡¯s sports TV industry achieve a better grasp of the market trends, and the latest know-how on the international market, and thereby generate useful ideas for developing the country¡¯s sports TV industry and ensuring the success of the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

As the official research partner, Pierre Justo, Director of CSM Sports Research was invited as a guest speaker and joined the panel discussion on development trends of China¡¯s Sports Television for the 2008. The forum was filled with outstanding interaction between the speakers and attendees.
