Infosys TV glossary
InfoSys TV glossary refers to a series of media indexes frequently in the used in process of broadcasting, TV audiences and radio audiences' analysis, such as TV (radio) ratings, reach in %, market share, target saturation, gross rating point, cost per rating point, cost per thousand, average frequency and so on. These indexes can be categorized into four parts based on the calculation of TV audiences and radio audiences' rating data and the different performance in the process of media research: analyzing program rating situations; investigating audience viewing habits; allocating and managing advertisement planning; evaluating the effects of advertisements, which have been acknowledged as the crucial reference for TV programming, adjusting and assessing, as well as the plan establishment and advertising effect evaluation of advertising agencies.
